About Behold Tutoring
Our tutors love Christ, have been saved by His grace, and have been gifted with great minds and generous teaching abilities. We have scored in the top 1% on the ACT/SAT, and understand the concepts of high school classes (even AP) well enough to explain them to students with “lightbulb” clarity.
We have experience working with all types of students, especially those with ADHD, and love helping students to develop stronger study skills and executive functioning. Our team prayerfully abides in Christ to bear the fruit of love, joy, patience, kindness, and gentleness with our students.
Our tutors hold college degrees in a variety of fields from respected universities, and you can trust them to help your student succeed in the classroom and on college-admissions tests. But for our team, tutoring means even more than academic success.

1. Worship
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands,” (Psalm 19:1). When we look upon the stars God has made and study the laws of physics and His providence in history, we cannot help but be moved to worship Him for His awesome power and goodness. Our tutors inspire hearts of worship and intellectual curiosity in students as they behold God’s glory in their studies with deep, awe-struck wonder.
2. Identity
“God showed His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us,” (Romans 5:8). By finding their identity in Christ’s love instead of their academic performance, students can reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem with humility. We encourage our students to prayerfully depend on God for the strength to take great notes in class, to complete their homework with excellence, and to passionately prepare for tests. And we remind our students to trust God with the results, knowing that they are chosen, loved, and “fearfully and wonderfully made” regardless of their grades.
3. Stewardship
“Well done, good and faithful servant,” (Matthew 25:21). These are the words we pray each of our students will hear from Jesus as they enter Heaven. God has entrusted us with time, talents, and education to steward for His glory through the sacrificial love of others. We encourage students to make the most of their time, to do all for the glory of God, and to prepare now for a future of serving others with their unique, God-given gifts.
